Cops told me they have a search warrant and never showed me first is that illegal
Is illegal for a cop not to show me a search warrant at the present time at my request? And is it right for a cop to show search warrant when the search is done?

It's not illegal. Who cares if it's right or not?

What if the search warrant wasn't for me? It matters because the way they had went about it. My girlfriend and I were pulled over 5 min away from my our house under covers didn't even know my girlfriend but right way detained her and hand cuffed her. The other cop then went to my side and arrested me. Took the keys from the ignition and took my girlfriend and I house keys and put it in his hands. Then he gets on dispatch and gives OK to his team that they are heading to my house to search it, I then ask why they are searching our house they said for drugs. Iasked for a search warrant they told me its too late ill show you later. Then one of the cops drives my girlfriend car back to the house with our two little infants in the back seat. We then are taking back to our house where we are detained until the search was over. Well they end up finding meth in the house that weighs about 2 grams. And 3 scales that don't even work and they were in the trash can. And now they want to charge wit possession of controlled substance for sale. They then discover 2 guns on the side of my house in a car that's not even function

    Hello again, a:

Search warrants aren't for PEOPLE. They're for places. Whether they showed it to you or not ISN'T the issue. The issue is the legality of the warrant, and whether they really had one. All the other stuff doesn't matter.
