    Sue them for what ?

In law school we had a case study where a criminal sued the home owner of a house he broke into. The home owner did not have a hand rail on the stairs and the criminal fell down the stairs. He sued for loss income .

Yes a criminal can sue when I was in college we talked about this. Say for instans you have a dog and some one breaks in to your house to steal you stuff and your dogs bites them and you don't have beware of dogs signs up where they can see it then by all means they can sue. Its stupid but they can...
