I can not make my payments on my car. I moved and I do not think they know where I live. I understand that if I hide my car they can get a warrant for me to turn it over.

I will take that gamble. I will bankrupt the fees, repo, and the balance anyway.

But my question is if I hide my car that is not worth much, how long before they write it off?

Once they write it off, will I get the title? Or am I just stuck with a car I can not sell? My goal is to hide the car out until I get the money to pay it off or let them write it off. If they write it off instead of repo will I own the car.

How does this all work?
