    Selecting, all, some (control key) or list (shift key) comes into play.

    Copy/paste works for CD's and other folders.
    Cut/paste works for folders. (This is a move)

    Selecting the CD, right chick copy and then paste to where you want will copy the entire CD including the name of the CD into a new folder.

    Well let me try to be simple;
    Insert the CD into your CD/DVD drive > wait for few seconds, you'll see a pop up autoplay window, from there you can directly transfer the pictures to your computer's "My Picture" folder (by default) by clicking the "Copy/transfer pictures to a folder on My Computer" and follow the onscreen instructions. Or you can also select the "Open" or "Open folder to view files". If you select "Open....." a new windows will open which is the folder of your pictures on your cd. You can select all or you can select the pictures you like to copy. Let me assume that you are going to save/copy all the pictures, first select all the pictures (you can press Ctrl+A on the keyboard to select all or click on the "Edit" menu on the Folder and select "select all") You'll see all the pictures are highlighted, now press ctrl+c or right-click on the selected page, select "Copy" or you can also go to menu "Edit" and then "copy". Now open another windows "MY computer" locate the drive where you want to save your pictures on your computer, Create a "New Folder" by clicking on the "Make a new folder" on the left pane (in windows vista and 7, it's on the tool bar menu), give a name to your folder e.g. "My Picnic Photos" open the folder and right-click your mouse on the blank area and select "Paste" the copying process will begin.

    You can even drag and drop the picture files from the cd directory to the folder you selected to save. Adjust both the windows so that you can see them both at the same time, click on a photo on the cd folder and drag it to the folder you just created to save your picture.

    If you have problem, let me know.

    Hope you can follow my instructions.

    Good luck.

    If the Autoplay dialog does not automatically open, then you have to do this semi manually. You have to open Windows Explorer and navigate to your CD drive. Once there, you can select the folder where the pictures are stored, or just select the pic files and then drag and drop them to the folder where you want them or use Copy and Paste
