Then go with what benn's link. DirectX 9.0c contains all the DirectX files including 3D. I found it odd that you would lose only a portion of thise files so I thought it safer to re-install all of DirectX.

I have a DirectX 9.0c cd. When I installed, I check it at DirectX Diagonastic Tool--Display but it still show :Hardware accelerated Direct3D 9+ is not available because the display driver does not support it. You may be able to get a newer driver from the hardware manufacturer. When I test Direct3D interface it say:Direct3D 9 test results: Display driver does not support API (DDI version too low)Quote:
