I have a 50 dollar Confederate bill from Richmond Sept.1864 serial #18443 .The front and the back are identical except for the color.One side is a lite brown while the other is more of a green.It has President Jefferson Davis in the center on both sides.I was wondering if anyone would know the value of this money? Any info on this money would be greatly appreciated!

on the front in the center it Jefferson Davis president of the confederate styates. Printed in black and green. Greenornatereverse and denomination. Plain and water marked paper (CSAblockwith wavy borderline.)NOTE THE plain paper varieties are extremely rare.Following is there values;;;

Hello... I was looking at a collection my mother-in-law had and came across one of these bills. Although this one is different. I had a look at some picture of other ones but this one does not have "FIFTY" written on the back but has 4 ~ # 50 in each corner and a larger 50 in the center with the written fifty on the top and bottom of the large 50 in the middle. Also what differs is on the front left upper hand side in small writing is... 2. series... the no. of the note is 59204... any answers as to why this one is so different then the ones I've already seen?

The note is in very very fineconditon as it was put away all this time... not sure what uncirculated means. I can take a digital picture of it and post it if you like.
