You are not correct in all that you are thinking about prayer, or the power of our Lord. We did not understand all God's intentions in such matters, but this is not heaven, and we live on this earth baring a cross until that day, The Lord's Day . But I speak "Truth" in knowing God has answered my prayers. One experience that relates to this subject is a prayer I asked in protection for my son's severe seizure with diabetes. From that moment on my son has not experienced a seizure in 21 years.. Oh he still has diabetes... yet God has brought forth great forture in medicines and care to help him in the attempt of controlling this disease. My son was 8 years old when the first seizure fell upon him. I believe with a hold heart of love, God looks after His children. This might not be the miracle you wanted, but none the less it is God's given blessing upon my son.

If you want to give God the credit for creating those meds there is nothing left for us to talk about. Your mind is too closed. If god worked we would not need that all that medical research to create the meds that helped your son.

Medication of insulin with diabetes can cause the seizure.. Not the right amount of food intake, not the right about of exercise, having a common cold using the natural immune system can cause seizure.. My son never had another seizure...

You know, I truly feel very sorry for both of you as each time you two speak, you dig a deeper hole for your souls to sink into. And you do it by your own words and actions. I know it is hard to expect any sense of decency from either of you when speaking about Jesus but again, you'll find out at your time of departure from this Earth and then what will you say to justify your actions here and what you have said about Him? Remember, you can't lie your way through that one. God knows all and will know you as well and all you have said. You are exactly right, sndbay. May the words of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior ring Loud and Clear for everyone to hear! Those who do not believe now will have a great struggle trying to explain their actions and non-belief at their judgment of which no one can escape from. That is why I pity the souls who blaspheme and use such excoriating comments about that which they do not understand and do not try to understand. The devil has them firmly in their grip and hopes to win their soul over at the time of their Earthly departure. Topic demons: yes there are, and power over all has been given in the Name of Jesus to those that believe. I would suggest, when known that the severe seizure is coming on, that the person pray asking that body mind and soul be in the hands of the Lord.. Ask that God would send His holy angels to protect you from evil demons. IN JESUS NAME.. When you believe in Christ and His worthyness, your prayer is answered..

Given the fact that this is a forum dealing with CHRISTIANITY, the Bible Verses are most germane to the conversation as they point out, Biblically, that demons do indeed exist. So, not only do we Christians believe there are demons but the Holy Bible backs us up on that point and we need to show the verses that support what we are saying, otherwise why be discussing matters in a Christianity forum if we could not point to Christ's words and other Scriptures in the Holy Bible.
