a friend has gotten one of his x's pregnant but she refuses to let him have any part in what they are going to name the baby or where he is going to go to day care or where he will eventually go to school. She has said nothing about wanting child support until she figured out that their relationship wasn't going to work out... and ever since then she has been hounding him to talk to her about $$$$$$. So since he had no say throughout the whole pregnancy and she will continue to make it hard for him to even see the baby after its born could he sign his rights away and not have to pay child support because that is all she wants from him anyway??

Not serious are you ? Would there be 1000's of men in prison for not paying support if it was that easy.

He has no say in what she names the child,

He has the right once the child is born to ask for DNA test and then file for some level of custody, visits and get child support set though court order.

Actually does not matter what she wants, or what he wants child support is set by state law depending on income.

As for as right to have say about school, doctors and the such, he may or may not that depends on how much he wins in court

You cannot just sign rights away. Children aren't property. Also, child support and visitation are separate issues. Once the child is born the father can petition the court for custody/visitation. At the same time the mother will probably petition for support. Plenty of people have to pay support for children that they aren't even allowed to visit for various reasons. And, if someone fails to pay child support they still cannot be kept from children that they are allowed visitation with. Separate issues.
