What are the chances of me getting residential custody back of my 6 yr old daughter, I gave up custody 6 months ago because of the unbelievable stress and torment my ex was putting me through and because of all the guilt I felt, I caved big time. There's a lot more to the story, but I didn't want to cram it all in , perhaps some specific questions will help.

Will he fight it? If you want to regain custody, you have to show that all the issues that caused you to hand over custody have been dealt with.

He'll fight all right and I can show those issues have been resolved and the steps I took, no drugs or alcohol involved although we are both recovering aa for 14 yrs. Thanks for your input.
