Ya, I know that... each other laughing at the other's learnt language, LOL! :p
In Mauritius, since english is compulsory at school, you have all sorts of english accents! And because of creole, the mother language of most mauritians, the becomes "ze", so do this, that, those, these become "zis, zat, zoz, zeez" lol!

My favourite accent is Irish :: swoons :: it's such a pretty accent.
We have weird accents... we really don't like saying whole words..
Good Day = G'day
Hello = G'day
Good evening = G'day
How are you? I haven't seen you in a while? = 'Ey (with a head nod)
And then there's the always faithful slang...
Crikey = An exclamation of surprise.
Barbie - A Barbecue grill
Sheila = A woman
Bogan = American equivalent of someone from a trailer park
Dole Bludger = Someone on welfare
Hmmm... can't think of any more at the moment lol

Either I've not really met a 'pure' Canadian english accent, or did not heard so much of it, but I find it fine. I find it like some kind of 'in-between' of US and UK.
The US accent is pretty much like the UK accent, only some words differ in meaning.

The Canadian accent speaks pure English in my opinion :) I have found nothing strange in how we speak =P besides the Quebecers. Quebec is a separatist nation so I would not consider them Canada =P
