What causes a 1992 honda accord to hesitate or sputter on acceleration
My mothers' 1992 Honda Accord seems to hesitate or sputter during acceleration while in the drive gear #4, at aprx.2100-2500rpm.This car had minor symptoms when it was purchased, last week she took it to the honda dealership, they replaced the 02 sensor but the car seems much worse now! Any suggestions on what may be the problem, would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!

. Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

. Ensure spark plugs (NGK only) have been changed in the last 24,000 miles, if standard plugs, and 50,000 miles, if platinum. Use the same NGK plugs that came in the car.

Most likely, it's the ICM and/or coil.
