    Gear shift moves but doesn't shift into gear
    1998 toyota, the gear shifter moves but car will not sift into any gear. The gear shifter is real sloppy. Well like nothing is there.

    On my 1998 toyota camry the gear shifter moves freely and the car will not shift into any gear. Its in park and won't shift out. The gear shifter is very loose and moves very freely. What do you think is wrong?
