    Massage for hand vein?
    Hello
I have a problem (similar to that post from Sherazad) my hand veins become prominent recently. It used to be during or just after an exercice, now it is almost all the time as I am aging and approaching 40. I see some posts saying that nothing can be done, well what about a HAND MASSAGE, anybody tried this? Will a daily massage of the back of my hand (towards the heart of course) flatten the vein, not change anything, or make things worse?

This is natural with aging, the valves in your veins aren't so strong and so blood can run counter to the flow, causing pooling in extremities. (there is no pressure in the veins pushing blood back to the heart, they rely on your own movement to get blood back to the heart)

I don't think massage will do very much except making you feel relaxed. It may cure it for a few minutes or so, but nothing long lasting.

I'm certainly no expert on this so hopefully someone who is can come and give a better answer... this is just my feelign on the issue.
