    Chase is suing me for my balance owed
    Chase added my wife who to the court summons. J Doe Last name, Spouses. Can they legally sue her when she never agreed to the terms in AZ? Is it too late to settle this debt? I thought this debt would just go away after 7 years. I lost it all, and I am starting over now. Times are still rough, but we are heading in the right direct. If I go and fight this in court is there a chance of winning, or something positive coming out of it? I am 100% blindsided and lost.

    Your wife cannot be legally held responsible for an account if she never signed for (which includes approval on the internet or by phone).

    When was the last activity on the account, payment or charge? It might be over the statute of limitations.

    Can they win the case against her if it isn't her debt? No.
