    California, property lien on Homestead Property?
    Can Collection agencies place a lien on Homestead properties when unpaid credit card debt is involved? The credit card in question is in my name only. I'm out of work, and my mother just died, but we were both on the deed as Joint Tenancy. When my parents purchased the property many years ago, they filed it under the Homestead act. Thank you,
