    Vacuum cleaner woes
    Hi all,
I have a Bissell model 3594 bagless vacuum. The handle release pedal
Has broken. I found the part, but my problem is removing the old
Pedal and putting the new one in.

    Thanks in advance.

What you are going to need is two small flat blads and put your unit on its fron with the brusha facing up. Look on the bottom side where the lever is. There are two small plastic pieces that hold the lever in place. Push the screwdriver between the tabs and you should be able to wiggle it out. Though it will take some strength.:)

I am thinking about buying a new vacuum cleaner and would like a recommendation on one that you have found to be good at really suctioning up the dirt. Price is not a factor.
