    GE Profile Dryer: timer won't advance in auto dry
    Hi, I have a Ge Profile Electric Dryer Model #Dpsr473ewoww that does not work in the auto dry mode, meaning the timer doesn't advance. it dries the clothes but the timer won't advance. it does work in the time dry mode and shuts off after the marked time eg 30 min.
    the vents are clear and air pours out the duct with no problem.When i got this dryer i put a load of clothes in it and left it running in the auto dry mode and it ran all night until i shut it off. I've seen this issue listed here with other models but i need model specific advice, i bought this dryer used, so i don't even know how old it is.is this fixable? :o
