Case of the too cold KitchenAid
Well, I said I'd post when it was fixed. IT'S FIXED! After nearly 2 months of a continuiously running (evap fan) fridge. All is quiet, and a 38* temp. At first post the blend door motor was replaced. Then we moved shelves around to open up cold air return. Then had the thermister replaced. Next was the thermostarter, but not the board because of cost. At last visit I was told all appears normal and my digital thermometer I placed in there was wrong, but I insisted that thermostarter circuit board be replaced. So the part was ordered. After he left telling me all is normal I placed a 1/3 glass of water on each shelf and within 2 hours had iced on top. Over night became solid ice.
A diffrerent service man showed up today from the same company and installed that board, all is well. KitchenAid is picking up the tab. Happy New Year!
