A friend of mines brother needs serious help, but no place with a bed for him is accepted by his insurance. He does have insurance, so he's not covered under a rule 25 n Minnesota, is there another way to get help paying. They are kicking him out tonight.

Why isn't he covered under Rule 25? Under Rule 25 all Minnesotans are to have access to a continuum of treatment services. So what is the whole story here?

The Reason He is not covered under rule 25 is because he has insurance, but they only will allow certain places, they are controlling what can be done. He is an Alcoholic. He needs to try to commit suicide, DUI or something before they will help the family get him help.

Try to find a government funded rehab and don't tell them he has insurance. For some reason when people have insurance it may cause some kind of problem. Usually the insurance company will only pay for so many days at the facility.
