I was on the yaz pill for 3 months and I have been off it for almost a month and I want to have a baby I would like to know how long it will take for me to produce an egg. I hope not long. I am just really looking forward to missing my period... Please answer if you can. Thanks People!

I have heard that your body will take a couple cycles to get back to normal. However, some women get pregnant as soon as they get off the pill and some get pregnant while on the pill. Don't be rushed, just be patient. Any don't stress out because that will only make it harder to conceive. Best of luck!

First - Patience is key.

Second - depends on what medication you were on, depends on every women is different.

Third - Wrong reason to get pregnant and have a baby so you can miss your period.

Fourth - It takes most couples 85 percent of couples to get pregnant within the first year of trying.

I didn't mean that I only want to get pregnant so I won't have my period I mean I hope I miss my period because that usually mean a person is pregnant... Anyway it has been over a week since I was expecting my period... are the chances higher that this is because of the because or because I am possibly pregnant??

Girl, you know those pregnancy tests from the dollar tree work! Go get one!!

Since you are late, your chances are higher that you are pregnant. However, it could easily be because of you being on the pill. (esp since you were on it for three months, then off after that. It's a lot of change in a short amount of time for the hormones to process.) You can take a test now, if negative, but don't get your period, test again in a week. The general amount of time for the pill to get out of your system is 3 months, however, this can take longer or shorter for some women. Good luck
