What does Edna st vincent millay's poem " Departure" mean? And are there any songs that can relate? My teacher told us to get a poem we like and a song to relate... love the poem... can't find a song... sooooo... if I can't get one I am so screwed because that's what we are doing for our finals, don't pass the final... don't pass this yr... and then I don't graduate... oh man...

Why did you pick a poem you don't understand? How can you love it if you don't know what it means?
This is your exam, no one here will do it for you. Pick a new poem.

I know what it means... I want others opinions... I didn't ask for you to be a critic... I asked for help...

If you know what it means then what is the trouble? Why did you say:
what does Edna st vincent millay's poem " Departure" mean?
Sorry, but that translates as: "I want someone to tell me what to write" not, "What is your opinion on this poem?"

Even thought it is your final ask your teacher for help. Ask him or her for their opinion on maybe what genre of song. That can kind of narrow it down.ive never read the poem and I've never met you but I'm sure u'll pass with a wonderful song for the poem. Just try asking for help. And if the teacher doesn't help then ask some other people. Like your parents. Or some older friends. People who have heard a lot of songs you no.

i meant like graduate.
You know... I really have no clue what grade I'm in now... I stayed back my freshman year because ii skipped school so much... and this year I was on a special team where I could make up credits and still get my credits being a sophomore... I'm supposed to have at least 10 to be a jr... but I only have 7.5 and if I pass my summer school class I'll have 8.5... still not enough but who knows where I'll be...
