I am writing this concerning regarding our 40 year old daughter
Our daughter took off for Canada with no word to her children nor the rest of the family; we did not know where she was. Got a call that she was sleeping in a bus station a month later.
We are a middle class America family raising her two boys; since she took off on the boys when they were two and three and did not return for almost 10 years. Saying she wanted to be in their lives. With much counseling we made this work although Laura doesn’t have the ability to be a mother; It can be part of her being EMH educatable mentally disabled.
Her first born son is also EMH and bipolar has been in and out of the hospital and requires many medications in the day of his life.
During her early years with her boys she raised then on the streets of Chicago burning fires to keep warm walking malls during the day and eating garbage. She finally called us when the boys were two and three saying she was having a 3rd child and was giving this child up and wanted to come home. That did not last long before she left without here children leaving them for us to raise and this was a challenge as these children never sat at a table, never potty trained and didn’t know what a bath was a task I wish on no one.
I keep hearing she wants to marry this man but impossible she never got a divorce. And her children will remain here.Her eldest needs constant monitoring for his illness. My husband and I are legal guardians of these children and retired.
Now we learn the last of this bad story which is she is pregnant. My family is in a fight for her life stop this relationship. I wrote a letter asking him to stop her coming to Canada with no answer.
I am a diabetic and stage 3 copd and would love to have any suggestions you may have.
