Dear Law,

I have submitted all the documents in Portugal duly endorsed by the Portuguese consulate in Goa in the year 2004. I have also received my process number but I cannot understand why is my next appointment being held up. Can you please let me know what will be the next step ?

Well are you a citizen of Portugal? And are you currently in Portugal? Can you not simply call the passport office and see what the delay is?

Thanks for your reply. I am an indian citizen living in the uae. I had contacted the portuguese consulate in Goa and they asked me to contact my lawyer in Portugal. Although I have written a letter to enquire about the feedback of my documents. They have not replied to me. I am willing to go to Portugal to make enquiries. Can you please help me how to contact the right lawyer for that matter.
