There is a new power drink that is slowly making its way onto store shelves, and the name of this soon to be popular drink? Cocaine! Aparently the soda company thinks it is OK to use that name maybe as a way to lure kids into thinking cocaine isn't that bad. I understand the whole freedom to print or what ever they call it, but where is the line to be drawn where someone will say "sorry you can't use that name?" What's next? Another drink called Heroine? What's to say the company isn't really putting cocaine in this new drink called cocaine simply to get people addicted to it? Coke-Cola did that years and years ago, what is everyone's opinion on this? Has anyone seen this soda on the shelves yet? If so, what states if don't mind me asking? In my opinion, it should be taken off the shelves, or at least given a different name.

This was actually pulled from stores nationwide like 2 days ago. Supposedly, it will be back on the market under a new name.. some day

It may have been announced that it had been pulled off the shelves, but some state, somewhere a store still sells it, I don't know what store and I don't know what state I just know someone is still selling it. A truck driver I know showed me the can not even a day and a half ago.

Yeah, pretty wild... especially the way they marketed it "Speed in a Can," "Liquid Cocaine" and "Cocaine -- Instant Rush."

Then check this out:

"Of course, we intended for Cocaine energy drink to be a legal alternative the same way that celibacy is an alternative to premarital sex,"

Hahahahahahahaha yeah, right

What I want to know, is how they were allowed to market it, and what store is still selling it?

Wow! You'd think that they'd come up with a more respectable, smarter name for their product. They're probably just trying to get young kids to be more attracted to it.. Or teens I should say. Just like those flavored cigarettes.. Adults wouldn't use that. Kids would...

Well, morals aside, I was wondering how it got taken off the market? I mean if there is no illegal content in the Drink how can they take away the freedom of being allowed to name it whatever you want, regardless of what it suggests. Wouldn't that also mean it should be illegal to promote morally unsound things publicly through speech?

(No, I'm not a coke head)
