I need to scan multiple documents into a single file suitable for attaching to an email. I tried Scan To MSWord, but the resultant file is too large. I don't have an option to scan to PDF (should that be available?). Can anyone help??

Have you tried scanning to a JPEG (Picture) file and the zipping it down?

The issue seems to be that when the scanner sends to "file", it creates separate JPEG with the same name, but numbered XXX001, XXX002, etc. I need to have them go into 1 file of multiple "pages"... PDF would be great.

OK time to dig out the manual that came with it, or even the program help files.

With the HP's I've used it allows multiple pages to be scanned into the same document, normally using a page feeder to scan each page seperatly.
