I have a briggs model 310707 type 0137-e1 Code 020208ZE
It starts, runs for a while then starts to sputter spit and sometimes backfire and quit
After it quits it has spark but there seems to be a abundance of fuel in the top of the carburetor. It has a NIKI carburetor. It has a fuel selonoid. The float doesn't seem to have any holes. The gas cap is not blocked. It seems like it floods it self out. Can anybody help

How many HP is this engine

It is a five hp horizontal briggs. And just for FYI the problem is solved. For anyone experiencing this, it is a pulsa jet carb. With a pump on the side. Changed the diaphram spring and cap in the pump. It works like a charm. Problem was the pump wasn't keeping up with the carburetor's needs.
