About a little more than a month ago I was jumped by three guys at school and I'm having a lot of trouble dealing with it, I broke my jaw and received a consussion during the fight, the guys were arrested and we are going to sue and all that but it still odesnt help. I know they will get in some trouble with the law, they will get sued by me, and they have already been expelled from school. But I just can't move on, I can't sleep, I think about it constantly and get so angry, I do not know what to do, part of me wants revenge so bad, but part of me tells me that is not a good idea, I was out of school for a while and am back and not really that embarrassed but just depressed about this whole thing, those three guys think they won and I just don't know what to do... please help...

The fact that they jumped you 3 to 1, in my book that doesn't make them winners, they should be embarrassed. Keep your head up, they are just cowards.

yup, revenge will just make you feel a lot more worse than you're already dealing with at this moment. Don't get angry over the past, u got to move on, can't stay stuck on one small thing. There's life and your future to look forward to, no matter how bad or good.

The second you go out and try to get revenge is the moment that they won the fight. People like that are looking for a reaction, so don't give them one. Im sorry that you are feeling so down about it. Why do you think you feel so depressed about the whole thing? Is it fear, maybe your pride is hurt? I think you need to try talking about it and working that detail out whether it be to someone you know, or here just get it out there is something about this expirience that is eating at you and you need to let it go so instead of worrying about getting back at them work on getting yourself better mentally, physically, emotionally what ever you need and I am sure there are people all around you who want to listen including the people on this site.
