I got pulled over when I switched to the HOV lane to make a right turn. I was on the middle lane switching to the right lane and I got pulled over. The officer gave me a ticket but misspelled my name. The last letter in my last name is a G but he typed in an A so I could not find my name on the court website for the prepayment. Someone told me that this case will be dismissed - is that true?

Don't bet on it... he took your drivers license number when wrote the ticket.
Where I live they will revoke your license for failure to pay a fine. (Trust me, I know!) My insurance carrier dropped me after that and it cost me a LOT of money over the next few years till I got back in good standing with them.. not a lot of fun.
No matter how your name is spelled you still owe the money. You can fight the ticket if you want to but they will not throw out a citation simply because of a misspelled name.

Someone told me that this case will be dismissed - is that true?Hello t:
If that someone was a lawyer, I'd trust 'em. If he is just somebody you know, that isn't a good place to get legal advice. If he's wrong it's going to cost you a lot more.
