A chemist had two white solids, A and B. both dissolved in water and the solutions conducted electricity. When HCl was added to samples of the solidsm both produced a colourless gaas which when bubbled through calcium hydroxide solution, turned the clear solution milky. A was able to neutralise sodium hydroxide solution whereas B couldn't. What anions are present in substances A and B.
