I would like to know of a OTC sleeping pill that is strong enough to keep me asleep, and I won't be woken up to getting stepped on, loud noises, alarm clocks, etc...

My best advice is something herbal. There's something called calm-u-nat. it's a sleeping pill that my dad takes. It seems to knock him out pretty well. If you can get your hands on some perscription pills, trazadome is amazing. You have the best sleep ever. Hope this helps

ambien CR is the best drug. anything with CR or ER release mechanisms are always good. but that depends on your preference or problems.
