Hi having problems with the wiring to get the outdoor unit to come on I checked it outside in the panel and it kicks on when I push in the switch in the middle of the wiring on the outdoor unit and the 2 small voltage wires on the thermostat is a honeywell ct3600 I have the + side going to rc and common to y.in the furnace it's a lennox g8q3-90e-4 the voltage at the transformer is 28volts does the + go here and the common off any ground or does it need to go to anyone special

Thanks in advance!!

Can you better explaine this, I'm not sure I undestand, there should be a cable running from the furnace to the A/C one wire needs to be on the "Y" terminal at the furnace and the other on common.

Test the coil voltage at the contactor on the outdoor unit, do you have 24 volts?
