Use f(x) = 7x^3-9 and g(x)=1/13x to evaluate/simplify the following. 1/7(f(3*square root x) + 9

Am I suppose to take the cubed root of 7x^3-9?

It would help if you could be a little clearer with these functions - please use parentheses:

Is g(x) = 1/(13x), or is it (1/13)x?
Is the expression you're trying to evaluate (1/7)(f(3*root(x)+9)), or is it 1/(7*f(3 root(x))) + 9, or is it something else?

OH sorry I was typing looking at something else...

g(x)=(1/13)x to evaluate/simplify the following.

Expression is as follows: (1/7)(f(3*square root x) + 9

Thanks.

OK, I now get the g(x) function, But your parentheses in the subsequent function still don't match up - please correct.
