What should I do/get my boyfriend for his birthday? I don't want to throw a party, just do something the two of us. He likes music, but the only concerts he would like are way out of my price range. Thanks for your help.

Make him a mix CD.
I gave that to my husband for our anniversary a couple years ago, and he thought it was great! Pick a theme and try to use music by artists that he likes to stick to the theme.

I think he would like a mix cd a lot, that is a good idea. Well, I recently broke my collar bone, and he brought me flowers and a get well soon card and called me, hoping I was OK. :D It made me so happy, I don't think just a cd is enough. He's so special to me and I really want to show him that. Any more ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much.

How about getting him a voucher for a palce that sells music/insruments? Over here in the Uk theres a place called HMV, they do gift vouchers, or maybe a place like play.com?
That way you are incorporating his love of music, and he will still have some kind of gift that he can choose himself?
Or you could get him a t.shirt of his favourite band/singer, or some memorabillia of a certain band etc.
