Could I be pregnant? I took 2 home pregnancy tests and both had a very faint pink line. Now a week later I have started what I think is my period. Could the pregnancy tests have been wrong? Can they give a false positive answer? Please advise.

Sincerely,

False postives can happen, but usually not with two tests. There was more than likely a user error in the testing process. If you aren't sure and think you may be pregnant, use another brand of test or go to your OBGYN. Maybe try one of the newer digital tests, they take the guess work out of it.

Yes, it is possible. But as Ladyviper said, try another brand of pregnancy tests. Or go to you OBGYN.

Make sure that you took the test 2 weeks after you had sex, try First Response, and sometimes it's better if you pee in a cup, then you know that you got enough urine on there

Get a digital pregnancy test it states pregnant not pregnant.

Light lines happened to me and I was pregnant.
