For a while now I have been having an itchy anus, an bleeding occasionally when I go to the toilet.
Do you think this is piles. Or is it maybe something else.
If it is piles, can someone recommend to me a cheap and easy remedy to the problem??
If I need to buy a drug, I would prefer an over the counter drug and not one that needs to be prescribed by a doctor, because I am not very keen on going to the doctor and him having to inspect my...

It sounds like piles. Especially with the itching and occaisional bleeding. But you need to keep an eye on that. Cause one day it'll start and not stop. You might need to have a doctor check them out even if you're not too keen on him looking up the ole address. For now you can try lanacaine cream or tucks really work well and are very soothing. After 2 kids I know what I'm saying. Tucks also make a cream that'll work too. If they don't and you brave the doc's office there's a cream called proctocort that works wonders but that's a script.

It sound like anal fissures. Small tear arounf the anus. Straining and constipation cause this as well as overduing it with harsh toilet paper.
You can increase your dietary fiber and start wiping with flushable moist whipes. Stop itching because it will only make it worse. Use tucks.

Hello Steve:
You probably don't have cancer. But, if you do it might be curable NOW. However, if you wait to see a doctor, it might change to terminal.
Wouldn't it be a shame to have died from embarrassment?

Well Excon that could be debatable, not by me but someone I'm sure. I was thinking this for my own rectal bleeding exam. When I was a teen I always said MUMMMMMMM come ere an looka this,. wots is wrong with me. My concerns back then had very little to no concerns about location or condition of Dr Mums, expert medical exam. Hit your 20's and surprisingly enough you request of strategic medical advise concerning your rectum and blood loss holds greater value. With out question your mum is qualified and my mum has amazingly sought retirement. Now that I am in my latter stages of 30's I'm sorely anatomically defected as a result of my award winning choice in modern medical resources available, combined with pizza beer and hot wings as adequate nutrition. I decide maybe its time to show my rectum one more time, before I am so anemic blood transfusion becomes a consideration as my primary treatment for what the white lab coat described as hemrodialcranialitis, I say what? Almost effortless he responds I am sick due to an inflamed but head. At that point all I could do was agree with the well starched lab coat and fancy embrordary I can't pronounce with my pants down. So Steve you can try my ego induced method. It worked for me, despite the one failed opportunity and the successful mature 5 minute encounter with, I think her name was Brenda. Or you can dress up in you best salvation army clothes an drop in the free clinic and beg for an anal exam as precautionary measures. Politely reminding them your bus leaves in 20 minutes. This generally decreases delayed anxiety that may pop up while in the waiting room. I should have taking my own advise 15 years ago, not surprisingly though, that previous opportunity I mentioned earlier told me I think I know everything. Boy oh boy was she wrong. I do know everything. Just can't remember all of it. Good luck bro.

If you experience bleeding, pain or excessive itching down under in the netther regions, you should definitely have a Doc take a look. If you are bleeding it will typically be bright red if its Hemmies. Dark blood could be serious... either way you should have it checked. To learn about what causes them, what the symptoms are and what to do to get rid of them check out this website...
