Well it was asked so I''ll put my bit in. If you are having bad thoughts only you know why. What triggered it and so on. People believe in many things, good and bad, it's up to you whether you want to choose to believe that in your life, there are demons. You know who you are, you are a good person, do good people have demons? If you genuinely want to have good thoughts only have those things around you that cause you good thoughts. And if you feel you can't, then just pretend. This will come to you when you need it. Be Happy.

Needkarma said all that could be said. What you have is post partum depression and what you need to do is see a doctor and confide in your doctor about your thoughts and the way your feeling. Counseling will also be helpful and while your emotions and hormones are out of whack this is actually common to feel things that your feeling, but if you want to get control of it you need to seek help through doctors and councels. They will check your hormones, even might give you hormone treatment which will help balance the hormones, might even need something to help you relax, which is nothing wrong with. This will help you protect yourself and your children. You have choices and decisions to make but do not blame it on demons.

Sherry, I noticed that you responded to someone else's post and stated that you were on some antidepressants. Are you still taking them? When were they prescribed? How long ago were these prescribed?

one is 8 years old today and the other is 14Yea... that's not post-partum of course. You'd better get yourself to a doctor quickly; maybe have someone come in to make sure nothing happens to the children.

Sherry, does your doctor and therapist know that you aren't taking your meds anymore? Honey, there is a reason why they put you on it. If it isn't working properly, you need to call them and tell them it isn't working. They will switch medication. These things can take time until they find the right ones that will do the job. Right now, you are putting yourself and your children at risk.

Jesushelper76 (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/../members/jesushelper76.html) agrees: Communication with doctors and counselors are very important. They need to try different medications until they do find something that works, but stopping them altogether has made your condition worse.

Sherry, I don't know if you have done this, so please forgive me if I what I am saying is something you have done already. You need to speak to the doctor about the "bad thoughts." Tell him exactly what is going through your mind when these thoughts occur. It will help him/her tremendously in figuring out what meds will be best for you. You need to talk about what all the treatment options are, not just what one medication can do for you. Talk therapy in conjunction with anti-depressants is the usual course of treatment for someone in your position. They need to do an evaluation on a regular basis to see if the meds are doing the job.

Sorry Sherry, I just saw your post after my last one. Did the doctors or therapist tell you what they thought was going on with you? Have they given you any insight as to why you are having these suicidal thoughts?

Maybe you should call the hospitial now and let them know excatly how you feel and what you are thinking and they can let you know how to best handle this today... good luck and I will be thinking about you and praying for you and your children

Can there be demons, from a religious view point yes, but this seems more like a medical condition, please understand some people look for demons everywhere and want to blame a demon instead of understanding medical issues and problems,

We all have "bad" thoughts from time to time, for some it may be picking up the bottle, to another sexual or porn issues. To others it is actions that would be unspeakable normally.

You need professional real life help, doctor or counseling.

The really good part is you know something is wrong and you want help.

I was 18 when I had my first child, my daughter. I remember she had colic and would cry all night, never settling until I would give up and lay her on my chest and just go to sleep. I know your youngest is 8 but you would be surprised how long this can go on if you don't realise you need the help when it's happening. I didn't get professional help but my sisters experiences were similar and so we shared our sorrows. It could have been better if I sought the help I did need. Go to A doctor even if it's not your own if you don't feel comfortable with someone familiar, it is actually a medical condition so there should be no guilt in seeking help. People do care about your situation even if you don't know. Be Happy.
