I have an ex friend (dont ask) who was diagnosed with endo. In high school, she lived with the pain until she was 19 or 20. She married a guy in essence to get a sperm donation, she loved him at the time (dont ask). She took a whole cocktail of fertility meds, and got pregnant. Her doctor told her while she was pregnant, that she will never have anymore kids because they were going to have to remove her uterus, or something in there after the birth. He also, told her that she may not go full term because of the endo. She did have the kid and she is no longer able to have kids because they took out something from in there. They didn't do any of those invetro things, they naturally got pregnant, but only because of the meds apparently. Hope that gives some insight.

It can be difficult to fall pregnant with endometriosis. My sister in law fell pregnant 3 times with it, but miscarried 2 of those three times. After her third pregnancy and 2nd miscarriage they did surgury to remove the excessive growth on the lining of her uterus. After that she has had no problems getting pregnant and carrying to term. Your girlfriend may need to have surgury. If the endo goes untreated for too long the excessive growth could block the fallopian tubes. She needs to see her gyn about this. Good luck
