My girlfriend and I broke up 2 weeks ago. It just had to happen. As expected, I am kind of heartbroken, but it's not too bad.

That's not the concern though.

We never talk anymore. We always could communicate well and dynamically, but now we do not talk at all. Even if we are both online on MSN, no one will say hello.

I feel like I want her to say hi to me first. I feel like I don't know exactly what to say if I do talk to her.

A bob dylan lyric comes to mind: "I wish there was something she would do or say / to try and make me change my mind and state".

Any advide on what I should do? I think honesty is the best thing a human can exhibit.
Fondly,
Nat.

She is not your girlfriend anymore, right. Well maybe there is a reason she feels like not talking. I understand it might be something that you want but you also need to understand that maybe she is not ready yet, or maybe thinks it is easier just not to talk. It also sounds like there is still in denial because you still refer her to your girlfriend.

Best of luck. Joe

Maybe, just maybe, what if she feels the same way you do? Maybe she wants you to say "hi" first.

Or simply, she has nothing to tell you or doesn't want to tell you anything. But you seem like you would have something to tell her if you feel like a conversation should be initiated. Then, why not just say "hi" to her? You'll probably find out something that you need to find out.

It's great that you still want to be friends with her, maybe she thinks you'll ask her back if she speaks to you. Maybe she just wants to move on. However, if you think she'll speak to you, text her a message. If she doesn't write back, then she isn't ready to talk to you.
