I am a complete computer idiot, but I love to play Sims on the PC. I installed Sims to a few years ago, but have never been able to play it normally. It is very slow, takes long time to load, and sometimes freezes, but not often. My friend said to download an update for my video card driver or something like that and I did, but it has not helped. Can you tell me step by step, using layman's terms (I don't know much about computers) how I can improve the performance for my computer for this game? Thank you so much.

The problem is the onboard Pro savage chip is NOT up to the job.
YOu need a separate graphics card, not to worry as these are now quite cheap and easy to install.

Okay, how do I do that? Just go to Office Max and tell them I need a separate graphics card?
