Well technically by law yes,you do. But if you don't all she can do is ask you to leave and cannot give you any less notic as you already havethe date to move out. However not paying rent could result in her giving you a bad referral for where ever you want to stay next.
Hope I helped!

And what in this world would make you think this women would want to give you two months free rent??

Do you have a written employment contract at work? What if your boss posted here, I have an employee, we don't have any written contract, do I have to pay them the next two paychecks?? Why do I legally have to pay her for the work they are doing, there is nothing in writing?

Get the point, you pay rent because you live there. You don't have a written contract, you are on a month to monty rental, First of course, ifyou don't pay the one month most likely they would have you evicted on the street by the second month.

And of course if you don't pay, they can sue you in court, get a judgement, perhaps get a garnishment of your wages and more.

Plus just in the end of all things , You have a moral obligation to pay rent if you are living there, if you want to sleep in your car and not pay rent, do that, don't steal ( not paying rent you owe is stealing basically in a moral sense)

Why would you think its OK to screw this landlord out of the rent money? You have not indicated one thing she has done wrong. Pay the proper rent and give her a 30 day notice.
