Could someone please tell me why I have air blasting from my water faucets when ever I turn the water on ?

Are you on a pump or city water?

I am on a well approximately 225ft from the storage tank and aprox. 200ft from tank to the house.

Could someone please tell me why I have air blasting from my water faucets when ever I turn the water on ?

Is this happening every time you turn on the water or does it just happen in the mornings first thing? Is it just the hot water or is it also the cold water?

Now here is something that I do know, water heaters have a "Dip Tube" in them it is a tube that the water is suppose to attack instead of the metal in your tank. But sometime this causes a problem of making gas in the water heater if the water has certain chemicals in it, and this build up of gas may be what you are experiencing when you turn the water on. If this is the problem you can buy a coated rod that will stop the problem is it is what I just described.

What letmetellU meant to say is "Anode Rod" and not dip tube. A anode rod is a sacrificial rod that relates to anode rods used to prevent corrosion of a metal tank. More particularly, the present invention relates to a depletion indicator for anode rods contained in the tank of a pressure vessel, such as a water heater or boiler. A dip tube directs the cold water coming in to the heater to the bottom of the tank. The gas he's referring to is hydrogen sulfide gas which smelld like rotten eggs but doesn't produce enough gas to build up in your system. Sorry Letme tellU!
Look to a lowered water table so that the pumps sucking air or a leak in the suction line in the well. Good luck, Tom
