OK, so a year or even more ago, I went and got my navel pierced..
All went well, because it healed fast and didn't really get infected..
I was very happy with it, until someone commented negatively on it
They said that the ring seems to be hanging by a very tiny section of skin, and wondered why it was like that//
I have never noticed this before, but did take a close look at it, and saw that the person was rite..
Now I can't even figure out if it was pierced like this.. or if it became like this after some time
This didn't really bother me, until I got some very vERY nice belly rings for my birthday..
I tried them on, and their problem is that the stick is too long.. so it definetely does not look good on me since there is so little skin to hold it..

Rite now, my pircing doesn't hurt or anything.. and I have left it out for months at a time, and the hole didn't close even a tiny bit

So now I'm wondering if I can just pierce it again.. because I do want it to look nice..

Also, any suggestiins on closing up the piercing? I have tried but.. no luck..

Hmm that sounds knda crazy. My suggestion would just to talk to whomever pierced your belly in the first place or ask a friend with multiple piercngs. I got my belly done last October and if I don't clean it every day it hurts and oozes(ya know. Like it still hasn't healed) so consider yourself lucky yours healed quickly! Other than that I don't know.

You didn't get it periced right. This happened to me. There is still a tiny hole where the first one was done. It will heal, but it will not close due to the damage of the scar tissue. When getting your belly button pierced you have to be extremley cautious and careful. What I would do is go to a trusted, well known pericer and tell him/her about your situation. They will therefore give you the best advice for your situation. Also, only time will make it close.

It probably wasn't pierced like that, it just migrated. They can move, mine went right out of me. So you just should wait, you might even want to get it repierced just set back farther.
