The 3/4" (insulated) lineset i have has a 6" rigid 90 degree end. Is that designed for the condenser or air handler end? It seems that it would fit in through the siding and give enough room to solder on from there to the ah. Otherwise you couldn't bend the tubing through the hole in siding and still lay it flat down the siding.
Thanks

Thanks for the info, n h. but do you see what I'm asking about entering through the siding 20 ft up the house? How can I make the bend with the 3/4 without kinking it and allow it to be flat against the house?

You will have room in the soffit to make a smooth bend without kinking it. Then disguise the lineset with a downspout. We insulate the suction line, wrap it with the 2 wire and liquid line, run it up through the soffit and then slip the downspout on it. It is not that easy and takes two people.

I'm going up the end of the house, with no soffits or gutters... it will go in with the 90 degree, then flat down the side of the house... I'll add on to it in the attic from there to the air handler... thanks

You should be able to form the copper to make this work. Bend it on the ground and then feed it through the hole into the attic, it should rest flush against the house.

(((siding and give enough room to solder on from there to )))

Braze only no soldering. Use 15% silver rod.
