How would you rig up a weedwacker engine to a wheel of a bike?

You would need a clutch and then the spocket on the clutch to match the chain on the bike if your going to just connect it to the rear of the bike it would be really cool on a 18 speed lol but I've seen a lot of people mount the engine on the front of the bike and get a another bike tire with one srocket so they could still pedal when needed or use the engine when needed
Hope to have helped

I would go with a fritcion drive
Mount a small rubber tire to the output shaft of the weed wacker engine and mount the engine on a hinge
Let the weight of the engine push down on the bike tire

Just to get this strait there is no way around welding. If you don't have a welder maybe you should invest in one or rent. Another way to rig u your engine is a chain ddrive which allows your bike to go faster than shaft drives

Get it running then make a platform to bolt the engine on to. Make sure that the shaft of the motor will spin the wright way and it's very tight on the back tire.

I made a redneck wood frame with a26 cc trimmer motor the gas tank is mounted to the frame and the flywheel is on the tire... But I need a new tire every season
