Hello,
I am so afraid of any kind of insect especially cockroaches and I want to act before I have a problem with it. What do you suggest I do to prevent the insects from even approaching my house?
If this happens, how do I minimize the problem?
Thanks

The most common and effective methods used to "reduce" the number of insect pests that find their way into our homes are (you'll never be able to keep all of them out, unless you create an "air-tight" barrier):
1. apply a chemical barrier at least one foot out from the exterior wall and one foot up from the ground that COMPLETELY (without any gaps) treats your exterior foundation.
2. remove any potential above-ground entry paths (tree limbs that touch the roof, etc) and treat the eaves around the top of your exterior walls to deter creeping critters.
3. be aware of the common types of pests in your area and what season(s) they are normally present... address them specifically.
4. remove potential food or harborage sources inside and around your home so that they won't find a reason to go there.
Good Luck!
