Hi all,
I sponsored an Indian guy via a fiancé visa. We were married in the USA. Shortly after marriage I was shocked to discover in his own handwriting that he married me only for a green card and illegal monetary gain in the USA. I reported him to the INS several times in writing and personally met with the key immigration officers handling his paperwork. I stopped supporting further documentation and when he realized I found out, he filed for divorce in the USA. That was the most quick way for him to obtain a green card.

This man has never supported me financially or morally as a husband. I have all the documents to prove his fraud. I would have let it go but this guys continues to physically threaten me and harrass me. Enough is enough! I want him out of this country!
What can I do for at least some amount of action be taken against him by the department of homeland security or Immigrations Customs enforcement?

It seems they don't care. So what if another illegal immigrant came to this country by marriage fraud. AFter all, they need cheap labor.

I now think, that the only way to get a move on things is present this case to the immigration judge. But does anyone know how I can get to him/her through the multiple barriers?? Are there special forms to report immigration marriage fraud? Does the INS even care to investigate cases of marriage fraud?

Please, I really need help. This guy has made my life a living hell. He won't leave me alone, even after divorcing me and getting his stupid green card. It is like when an abused wife finally reports her husband and once the husband finds out, she is abused more!

Thanks!

I suggest that you try an immigration lawyer:
AltaVista Search: Immigration Lawyer search (http://www.altavista.com/web/results?itag=ody&q=Immigration+Lawyer+search&kgs=1&kls=0)

BTW

IF your marriage isn't yet two years old your immigrant spouse is here conditionally.

Excerpt:

Spouses of U.S. Citizens
Foreign spouses of U.S. citizens qualify for a green card as an immediate relative. Because of the perception that a large number of fraudulent marriages are entered into solely for the benefit of obtaining the Green Card, Congress enacted the Immigration Marriage Fraud Amendment (IMFA) in 1986. This amendment dictates that when a foreign spouse of a U.S. citizen is given permanent resident status before the second year anniversary of the marriage, then that green card residence is subject to a conditional grant of residency for two years.

US Green card through family members (http://av.rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0Je5W6.0lNGsXQBCi9rCqMX;_ylu=X3oDMTBvdmM3bGl xBHBndANhdl93ZWJfcmVzdWx0BHNlYwNzcg--/SIG=12db16bqp/EXP=1179984958/**http%3a//www.nriol.com/immigration/usa-greencard-family.asp)

In short, your window of opportunity to take legal action against him could be slowly closing. You say he can now legally file for divorce?
Then that might indicate that his two year conditional trial period period is over.

Collect the evidence and file police report for harassing and get restraining order. If he violates the order, the police will pick him up and once they find he has no legal status, deportation would be quick.
