Has 104,000 miles w/o any significant problems. I am the only owner and service is up-to-date( including recommended timing belt/water pump replacement) 2 weeks ago couldn't start so put in Sears die-hard. Now, 1 1/2 weeks later, started fine but after 1 mile, electric failed in progressive fashion.. first radio and brakes, then dash, then power steering then engine. Couldn't take a charge but eventually did after terminals cleaned. Now won't hold a charge... battery, alternator or what? I have had hondas "forever" and never had alternator problems. Any thoughts? Sounds like a bad alternator, but I think it can be tested without pulling the alternator out of the vehicle by many nationwide auto parts houses. If you go this route, have them test you new battery also as a bad alternator may have made you new battery become defective.
