I have a john deere jx75 and my blade won't engage,I did hit a rock with it.I took the blade of but can't figure out where to go from there.HELP

What happens when you try to engage the blade? Does the belt just slip around the blade pulley but the pulley won't turn? You may have bent the shaft the pulley sits on and now it is seized. Pull the spark plug wire off and try to turn the blade by hand, can you do it? Back to you

THa blace moves freely and the belt is tight

The blade will turn and the belt is tight,but it seems like the clutch for the blade isn't working and I can't get the allen screw loose to take it off
