The owners manual does not have a list of error codes for reference. The unit does not actually display a code (no pause), the light consistently blinks. I have never noticed this before, is this normal or something that should be looked into. Thanks!

The light will always blink, there should be a chart somewhere on the blower access door telling what the codes mean, if you have a constant blink then it's not giving you a error code. Is the furnace acting up? Or did you just notice it blinking?

Thanks for the quick response. No problems, just the blinking light. I realized I never noticed it before, because it is not noticeable with the lights on from a distance. My wife happen to shut the lights off on me when I was in the basement yesterday (by accident ;) ) and that's when I noticed the light.

Not a problem! A lot of people get confused about the blinking lights, they can be very helpful for a service guy because it tells us where to start looking. Within the next few years a few of the major brands will be using a control board that saves up to 10 problem codes and even if the furnace starts working right a service guy can pull up the old codes and find out what was going on.
