Esteemed Assistants, We have a 20 year old builer-installed Florestone 4234-1 shower receptor (base, integral drain with Wedge-lok Seal). On discovering a leak in the finished ceiling below, my handy brother-in-law applied silicone caulk to the exposed areas around the top and bottom of the "Wedge-Lok Seal". The silicone has since turned black and brittle, and I am concerned about the return of the leak. We have been using the other shower in the meanwhile.
The Florestone web-site identifies several "Saflor Options and Accessories" including the "Wedge-Lok Seal" and "Repair Kit", but that part of the site seems to be available only to professionals.
Does anyone have experience with the repair kit, assuming I can get one?
Thanks, Jack

... a contact e-mail to the Web site people telling them of your dilemna and making sure they either give you detailed instructions or point you to one of their distributors or sales rep who can do so. Also try looking for a toll free number on their site. Seldom fails to let me down.

The people at Florestone were very helpful. Mike at RKR-Denver had the replacement Wedge-Lok Seal at the counter in less than an hour. Installation was a snap (lubricate with soapy water). Thanks, Jack
